Eyemouth again

Anyone been up Eyemouth lately? how's it fishing? heading up to the mother in laws again in an hour or so. Getting there for about 12, so intend to have myself perched on the rocks from 1ish

just got back from 3 days up there

first day fished the cannons nothing on fresh crab nothing on rubber eels and shads plenty mackerel.

second day back of the golf course 1 small coalie on crab, 4lb red coddling on a shad again loads of mackerel.

day 3 fished hairy ness mackerel,mackerel and more mackerel again fresh crab not being touched. there was no wrasse or Pollock water was gin clear.

Am heading up there early tomorrow I hope theirs more than mackerel

yeah, fished for a couple of hours - caught a red codling just over 1lb, so it lived to see another day

managed to break a line guide on one of my rods before I even set out, then broke a reel while I was up there! other than that it was a good day

Saw a few people fishing from the pier - not sure if they caught or not, never thought about trying there always headed to the rocks behind the golf course.

A bit dangerous with this northerly swell mate.
Plus, it fishes better when its flat calm......

Is it rough just now mate I live 40 miles inland not worth the trip if it's wild

Those rocks behind the golf course and heading round the pier dont have take a battering if the sea is up. Luckily I can see them from the mother in laws house, so I know whether to risk it or not.
