Eyemouth today.

SixfootSteve and I travelled up to Eyemouth to meet up with David Storey and get some of his knowledge of the rock marks up there today.
We mat up for breakfast at 08:00 with David Gordon and Rod. Gordon and Rod went off to fish some of the \"easier\" marks lmao while David showed Steve and I some of his favourite marks.
Unfortuneately as with Saturday the weather was not on our side but despite that we had a great time.
If any of you have seen The Lord of the Rings Return of the King, I now know how Frodo and Sam felt climbing up the side of the mountain to get to Mordor LMAO.
I am still aching just about everywhere from the waist down through using muscles I have not used for years. Also aquired a couple of canny blisters.
Despite the weather not being good David managed a couple of Wrasse and a Codling of about 3 1/2 lb.

Despite the pain and all of the cuts I am really looking forward to going back again.
Thanks very much David for putting in so much of your time and effort on a day that was less than perfect and showing us so many great marks. Nice to meet you at last and nice to see Rod and Gordon again.

Here\'s to the next visit.

Jim.

Oops I almost forgot, thanks for the hat lol.

Was going to post as soon as I logged in mate but with being my birthday there was some family arrived. Thank you by the way lol.
Got to be honest though, not nearly fit enough for some of those marks. That said it would be very rare when you visited them all in one session so I think I could have managed any two in one visit but not all of them.
I will definately be back though as will Steve. Just let me know when you want a look up Tony lmao.

Jim.

You know me and \"North of the Tyne\", Jim.........I get the collywobbles going to North Shields......lol

Pleased you\'s had a good time,I\'d been thinking for the last few days that the weather was\'nt looking to clever up there.sods law I suppose !

Got up this morning expecting to be absolutely knackered but was ok. Took Swmbo to Gateshead at dinner time and parked in the multi storey. She noticed on the way in that the lifts were not working so I dropped her off quickly. I parked on the 4th floor, oh how I laughed to myself as I walked back up carrying our goods.
