Well lads had a very quiet week in Eyemouth and Berwick as i fished the whole week with little to report as i fished the North Point in Eyemouth from the bay side around all the best marks around the area with very little to report but plenty of small coalies around the 1lb mark and not a mackerel in sight then i went into Berwick onto the Tweed and tried a bit salmon fishing with no luck there as there was loads of seals knocking about and you could see the salmon jumping as they were going up river and i did plenty of spinning but to no avail and then i tried float fishing for a while catching coalies and a couple of eels around the 2lb mark so there that was my weeks break and the bait i used was squid mackerel and tipped off with ragworm and the weather was fantastic untill the last day when it poured down and i did/nt take any snaps of the fish caught as i thought they were much too small and all the fish were returned unharmed so here/s looking forward to the next session elsewhere.:D:D:D:D:D:D

Sounds like yer had a canny break mate with a few fish and most importantly canny weather so nice one. even though the fish were not rod benders yer still should have taken a few pics though:D

That area seems to b quiet, was at st abbs on Saturday only got about 20 mackerel and 2 coaly between the 2 of us, coalys were small too

I'm up there next week for a few days , hopefully I can post a few more in my report. I think anywhere up there is lush and catching few fish is added bonus .
