well here is my 1st part of hopefully a good 2012 we have just had our 1st trip away to fairview lake near selby the owner seems a nice guy and friendly and helpfull . the 1st day resulted in plenty of liners and two lost fish near the net one of them was a mid double mirror the next day 2nd april i caught my 1st sturgeon at 11lb

then in the early hours of today the 3rd april i caught a 17lb mirror

both fish were caught on 16mm dna slk boilies tipped with half a dna fruitylicious popup

it was a nice change using a cabin with heat and a tv posh fishing lol

nice report bonny lad, some really nice fish there, keep it up BUT what about Lauras catch rate, you aint mentioned it or is she out fishing you again

no jimmy she didnt get one this time its the same as last year she had a slow start then she puts me to shame week after week so ime enjoying it while it lasts bud

as you say mate, enjoy it while it lasts, i suspect if she sticks at it as she has been doing she could turn into quite a young lady angler
