Alright Lads! Have a good trip out! Me and a mate are booked on Shy Torque the day before you lot!! Shame ill not get to meet you all!!! Have a good night in Whitby and tight lines!!!! We'll leave you a few fish!!!

Cheers Kayos! The time it takes me to get back in touch with my mate in the UK will probably just mess things up! I'll have a think though and maybe put a feeler out! I'm planning on coming back again in July and might just book another trip out, maybe we'll see you then! Tight Lines!

Yup it's the festival. We are on the Cat Trott ON 2 on the Wed and Charisma on the Friday and Mistress on the Sunday. I think Shy Torque is fully booked already!

Spent the afternoon tying rigs and putting new line on the reels in the hope that we get out. Our tactics are going to be whole squid or mackerel fillet above the sinker and a hollow belly below it. If that doesn't work, we have all sorts of hokkies and other type of shads.
Here's hoping for Saturday lads!!

Ha, I am rig maker Paul. No pink fishing clothes, just a blue and yellow Sunridge 2 piece floatie.

Hi Peter was on fone to rich earlier he said its 99% called off at the minute but Gota ring after 7 tomora so fingers crossed for the 1% chance lol

Well lads, unsurprisingly there will be no catch report to end this thread. As we all knew would likely happen, around about Monday, the trip was cancelled due to the pesky wind! 
So disappointed, as a trip out with a good few NESA members would have been a blast. We had a table booked at the Marine for dinner as well.
That's the 3rd year we have booked for Whitby at this time of year and the first year was fantastic, but the last two have been cancelled.
I think we are fated never to get out on Shy Torque. Cancelled once due to a broken shaft, 4 times now for weather reasons and once due to a holiday date clash! Oh well, we will let the deposit run and try to get out at Easter or Summer, as our weekends are full now with Youth Theatre rehearsals.
Hope if any of you have a boat booked in the near future, you have better luck than us.

Haha, very funny Chris! I am making a new year resolution to stop helping Lynn on the boats and just concentrating on my own fishing. That should make a big difference to the results!
