just been down corporation quay few boats have sunk big and small horrendous down there and frustrating not being able to do anything my little boat missing and big boat looking as if it could go any minute wind blowing straight down river every one meeting down in morning to see what can be done

The mooring ropes snapped I think.

Bert said Davey had to helplessly watch his boat sink.

Shady was okay when he checked earlier.

Very sad lads loads of fences blown over in my estate but it doesn't compare to your boats lads hope you get strapped down or recovered, is it just wear or seaham too

had a boat sink on the wear, good while ago now and through no fault of my own, gut wrenching feeling man, took a few balloons to get it back up.

That's the headline that every owner and crew dread seeing. I hope that any damage or loss is minimal and tomorrow's weather let's everyone secure their boats again. If help is needed just ask...

I'll be down at the RQ tomorrow checking my boat. If anyone else wants someone to look at theirs then let me know.

Last time we had a big flood the river filled with debris, we'll need to watch out for more this time.

There are 2-3 others in RQ from the Midlands Kevin according to Office , very kind offer ( think they are yachties )

Full team down the quay this morning, heritage coble now secured on another mooring, few small boats recovered and I think divers were going to look for the sunken boat. Fingers crossed.

lads great to see help and support available all over the place with this really bad weather creating havoc all over the place. I have been to Edinburgh this weekend (which is another story:o) does anybody know if the boats at SSBAC are ok:confused:?

Sorry to read this. The rivers look like the chocolate river from Charlie and the chocoloate factory and full of debris. Good luck to anyone who has had issues :(
