Few hours and one decent fish

decided to go out for a few hours on tynemouth to try for some pollack using fresh crab and mackerel set up about 11pm, a few casts resulted in a little tommy codling and 3rd cast i managed to get a 4lb codling out so not bad, only had 5 casts and decided to call it a night as the wind was picking up .... will upload picture soon

Well done Scaley.... obviously inspired by Scotty and Ozzy's trip the other night! lol. My brother had a 3lb codling on daylights SSP yesterday aswell so there must be a few about... (before anyone starts to doubt my word for it like on other threads... pics on my report in the lure fishing section!! )

well i admit i was chasing scottys lost pollack but it also because tynemouth is about the only pier that does not smell lol

4 lb codling this time of year well done good for a short session

1984 ss pier summer cod 11lb 9oz so many cod couldnt walk off with them using 50 crab a session, catching coddling 2 5lb on day lights and bannana skins thems the days
