Few Species off Cambios 190812

Out with Baz this morning in his new Kayak...... Shame he forgot his seat ....
Ideal kayaking conditions with a decent tide and little wind giving flat seas.
We paddled over to the windmills but the fishing was slow with just a few of cod and coalies. Baz stuck it out i went out to fish the soft/mixed ground. Ended up with 7 species which i was quite pleased with...... Baz kicked my butt in the size stakes but that didnt matter as id changed the rules to a species comp ;D

3 dab

4 whiting

5 macky

6 plaice

7 weaver

Magic. Weever and chips !!!!! Seriously, fantastic report. Great photos. I think we all get too fixated with cod at times. Great to see different species.
