was out and about looking for rock marks over the seaton sluice area and when we passed by in the car passed the car park there was 2 anglers fully kitted in greys outfits and a film crew walking over the sand.
Decided to follow them so far down th beach and asked them \"if they were doing a greys advertising\" they said \"no\" this is going to be a new show called \"TIGHT LINES\" and they are doing serious on it and they were starting off for an overnight session on the beach! :D .......they sounded from down south and sadi they had won many awards not only for sea but for fly and alot more.....is this a good sign for the descent fish moving in on the beach?....or what>?<

\".......s this a good sign for the descent fish moving in on the beach?.....\"

No jonny, just a film crew......lol

;)

why would they stoers if it going to be on sky sports m8? now one is going 2 watch a programme with hardly no fishin in it are they? :P

Seaton Sluice beach seems to be getting quite a name for itself in the film and television world. I was going to work on nightshift a few weeks back and there were loads of mobile film vans /caravans parked up in the main car park. I read in the paper the next day that they were filming a two-parter for television, a detective story starring Trevor Eve. The programme was on the telly a couple of weeks ago and it was great to see some of the local scenes on the box. It seems that word is getting around that its a good place for such productions.

probably be a five minute piece in the show that took them eight hours to film, good news for the area when its broadcast

There\'ll be a group of blokes in that area who won\'t be happy to have a camera following them across the dunes to see what they catch!!! ;)

did anyone see the tony kirrage video
called cod
they fished a beach down south
(chesil) some thing like that
they caught nowt all night
then tony shouts over
here lads ive got a cod
seemingly a lad(total stranger) caught it earlier on and they borrowed it
he was reeling a dead cod in in the surf
what a load of poo

cheaters again

Hahahaha....wonder if the fish got paid as an \"extra\".

No doubt most of you\'ll have seen the Sea Angler \"COD\" video......sonder how long messrs Wilson, Mckellow and Anderson spent at the kelpy beach in Fife.......all for a couple of tiny codling and a wrass.....a section of the video which lasted about 15 mins, I think.

Lol, Aye Sless...
Nice to have someone;
make your rigs
supply your bait
bait up your hook
snap off your snags
Lol

They were still on the beach when we arrived. Had a bit crack as they were leaving and was told they had caught about six Whiting. So watch this space.
To take a leaf from the bribones book of good sportsmanship na na na na na we caught more than you did lol.

Jim.
