Cheers, I'll have a lookyou could use fluorescent tape and seal with heat shrink, again from ebay. might be less messy than paint.
Jump in if you want mate, all these comments are giving me great advice and powder coating is something I'll be trying in the futurebought the lumi powder coat from daveys tackle on ebay, hang pirks in oven for 10 mins or so then dip them in a tray of powder coat, shake off excess then back in the oven for 10 mins, same as painting I always cover them with white first, it is a bit of a fart on but I only do about a dozen at a time and only when the mrs is at work haha.
ps sorry tonynufc, for jumping on your post
Cheers Russ. I could just about get away with keeping worms in the kitchen fridge until the boss bought me a second hand bait fridge. But, there's no way I'd brave cooking the leads in the oven. I'll try the silver tape method instead.
Aye mine never last long anyway, I hope the divers appreciate the effort I'm putting into decorating the wrecks for themNo need for varnish Tony , we thought it spoilt the effect ( don't last that long anyway) .
