well after searching about on bing maps looking at some areas i decided on a close one, never fished the area before and was not expecting much and can only be fished at high water a little tiny walk to the spot and ummm someone is fishing here, got chatting to the lad and he had been there since 5am with no bites i set up where was safe out of the big massive waves hitting the side walls and covering the floor in water and with in 30 mins of setting up rod was going mad with the waves so thought reel in and put fresh bait on but to my surprise a nice 2.7lb cod was hanging on the end after that a hour and half it was just small Tommy's, packed up at 10.15am as water was going out and the breakers were playing havoc on the line.
baits used were cart wings

fish and chips for tea :)

lol im back down there in the morning see if can manage another 1 :)

Mike, walk about 100 yards north toward seaburn till you come to the 6 foot wall just above the broken fenced off steps down on the beach cast about 80 yards into the gap between the rocks there's a channel about 18 yards wide. best to scope it at low water. If you get to the dog **** bin on the wall you've gone to far.
thats another secret shot.;)
