got an early finish yesterday so went to first gate on peir got a cod first cast 3.4lb then got a bite just on top water nearly pulled me rod in missed the bite the got another last cast just under 3lb not a bad nite

morning fish till 4.30 tea time only had small bites

a never poach jim nobody there when me and the new lad got there, was at the rail end for most of the comp and only had a coli and moved closer to the club house and get a cup of tea quicker when match ended
