First of 2014

Had a ride down the coast on Saturday afternoon looking for the first bass of the year not expecting much with it still being the middle of May , but was well surprised when one of my friends had a follow then in the next cast landed one of 45 cms, then within 10 minutes they just switched on and we had a hour of the fish going mental chasing baby patchincos . I ended up missing about 6 , droped 3 or 4 of and landed 3 , best fish 45 cms , we ended up with 6 fish between the 3 of us.

Cheers for the replies, the 45 cm fish would wiegh in around 2 1/2 lb but good fun on light gear, forgot to mention all fish were returned fit and well .

I have had a couple of good sessions with the necre, but if i was only buying one it would be the sun sprat

aye they are about £20
look at it this way.....you only get to use bait once, every time I go out with my lures they get cheaper.

£19.95 with free delivery from Mr Fish Jersey. It's a difficult lure to lose as they are on the surface the whole time so don't snag on anything. It's worth it, for me anyway.
