wow what a fish, mr charlton will be on one to track the lad down
no need "I WAS THERE" as Max Boyce used to say, that many people called about the fish I nearly employed a secretary, loads of people there taking photos so there should be plenty about, full story in next weekends papers
Smile? I'd be ****ing myself laughing If I got anything like that!
Well done though!
Bobby was knackered, he had to get the fish in, then up the ladders at Camois and go back for his gear, he could hardly hold it up
and he's had a few Carling![]()
well done that man fish of a lifetime right place right time wat a cracker not even rough either was it doesnt look itcheers for putting the pics on mate
nice one mate ive fished that exact mark and many near where he is many a time, i belive thats whale rock showing beside him in the water ,its a strange place you could fish there 20 times and not see a cod then one day youd get one or two me pal got one over 10 one day when we were out , its the most tackle hungry place in the world aswell lol,i remember maybe about 20 year ago or 30 someone got one around 24lb or summat there we fished it for weeks after and blanked lol the fish doesnt look residential as its not red so what a catch best one for yearsflat calm crystal clear water, these big fish not bothered about conditions they just wander the sea eating anything they find, have seen big fish hooked lost and a few landed at Cullercoats and Slatey in the middle of summer in same conditions, not that big though, by a certain gentleman I learned a lot about angling from. He always had a cast when he was looking for peeler on the rocks
that is a fish dreams are made off look at the size of its head
Alan did you have to travel far to get to Cambois
