or failing that, if its registered with the coast guard under the CG66 scheme, let them know, your insurance company as well need to know

they say its very bad luck to change the name whatever the boat was given.old wifes tale true or false any one else heard this.

your right supposed to be v bad for a boat and its crew if you change its name.

if your not superstitious go for it but i would not as i was in navy for 17 years and dont want to upset neptune and the sea gods.

make shure you keep the FAIRCATCH name jason it was my father in laws boat and a lucky boat thats the FAIRCATCH II sold the 1st one
