Hi Lads looking in to haw to get a job working on a fishing boat crab bota ect any help

you can try for an apprenticeship,not sure how but a mate of mine has just got one,he has to go to whitby for a year,not sure after that

not hard to find a a job as a deckhand. You'll need your 4 basic tickets before you can even set foot on a commercial boat though - fire fighting, first aid, sea safety and sea survival

I know you love your boat fishing Scotty, but working on a boat for long hours in all conditions is hugely different from dangling a rod over the side now and then. Why not call down the fish quay and have a chat with the commercial lads for some advice

Na lads love being on the water went out and dune all for ov em passer my test as was at sea for a week going to all the little islands batween Scotland and island was best thing Eva and was going to joyn marerns as loved being to sea that much but my son come a long so am looking in to it working on a fishing boat ect
