Looking to join a club in the new year anyone recommend one that has decent boundaries I would join seaham but it's hard work unless the sea is away would like a club that allows the river to be fished as sticking it out on cliffs and beaches can be hard work

cleadon have a winter league the south side of the river they can fish the river sless will be able to tell you better it would be a canny trek for you to join a club over the north side of the tyne

If your not a fan of killing fish why bother m8 90% of fish caught die regardles?

Loads of chance of fish at Seaham mate probs best pier for speices in north east so far there has been cod, whiting, plaice, flounder, dogfish, coalies, gurnard,Pollock, wrasse, coalie, herring, mackie, rays, sole, turbot, pouting and a few others the comp last Sunday was won with a 6lb Pollock

I didnt like the idea of it to start seaham pier is the best pier south of the tyne but if you dont draw a pier peg and the sea is flat calm its hard work as i am not the best at scratching. And when the sea is massive you have very little options.
