You dont have to go that far back this was 2010 awsome fishing over 100 stone between 4 men.

absolutely. and I'm not gonna raise that old argument again! There's a high risk of making yourselves a target that's all, given the state of cod stocks, someone somewhere is gonna pop up at some point and ask when would enough have been enough, or how many fish does one man need to catch before stopping!

didnt the original owner of shy torque blow the engines on 2 trips out ? Went out once, sure he was called stu got just passed the piers and told to sit down and hold on and thrashed them big style

That would have been Stu Johnson on Sea Trek, he bought the new boat Sea Trek TNG then sold it to Rich Ward and is now Shy Torque, I had a few amazing trips with Stu in the early nineties, and like you say he floored it!!!! probably the fastest boat ive been on especially with only 6 of us on.
