I've had macky off of the beach at seaburn mate, that's when I was really into it like. I've heard that blyth beach is good but it's got to be a big tide
last year me and me pals, lucky chris, chris 62, big mick, and me son ryan were walking of blyth pier, getting dark. one of the lads said hang on, we`ll try here, looking from the beginning of the pier we were casting our spinners in2 the breakers, let it settle, a quick jurk, and bang, every time they were on.
think about it, where are the sand eels. ?
Last August/September quite a few were getting caught in club matches on Blyth Beach by lads fishing for flounders around the middle toilets, on worm & crab baits fished only 20-30 yards out
I think at the back end of this summer I'll have a couple of wading sessions with my fly-rod, really want to get one (or more!) on the fly.
