On holiday this week, so fancy a few shore fishing expeditions. Does anyone have any experience of fishing around st marys, particularly the bays to the north (think its crisps gulley and west bay). What sort of sea do they fish on?

There are 3 holes (mixed bottom) in West Bay to fish on the ebb. When are you planning to be at St Mary\'s? I could pop along to point out where the holes are - maybe even join you for a session. You can fish in Crisps Gulley(rough bottom) throughout the tide so long as you are fishing from the lighthouse side NOT West Bay side! You can even stay on over the high tide time - the causeway is usually only inaccessable for a couple of hours.
