Fladden junior open

Please take note that the boundaries for the Fladden junior open are from Beach Way at the north end and the Astley Arms at the south end. Unless the weather forces the event to be moved either north or south depending on wind direction. Please also note that as this is a catch and release match that all fish count.

It doesn\'t say that in the rules Alan, rule No 11 and 12, or is this post an amendment of the rules ?

Not to familiar with names on Blyth beach, but again the rules say (No 5) as far north as the wooden pier, is this Beach way? If not, does anybody have a map of the beach and some place names please ?

davy it is an amendment to the rules see no 17. Of course it also depends on the weather. If we get a bit of a southerly the north end of the beach could be unfishable and bounds could move south, same if we get a bit of a northerly. There will be a big map of the beach at Seaton Sluice HQ on the morning, or if you go to the left click on original site, then maps there is one of Blyth Beach. The one on the morning will be a bit more detailed. Davy you will also notice another change, as it is catch and release all fish count. If you have any questions about any matter give me an e mail

hope to see some of you there and put names to faces etc

i\'ll be the tall 6\'8\" frustrated father of the two loud kids who cant talk at less than 40 decibels :casstet:

prob aim to fish nearer seaton sluice end as less distance to travel

what way will the tide run

ie is ebb north - south and flood south-north?

funny old beach is Blyth and Seaton Sluice, the tide never seems to run the same way it really depends on the wind. have a feeling if the forecast is right on the day it should be straight in and out, but if there are any sands bars this will effect directions. Cant see it being much of a problem though. Plenty parking all along the venue and as far as i know it is free except at the Astley Arms.
