Have just booked john on flamer out of hartlepool for 11th aug. There is currently only me and my bro on the boat any one wanting to join us ring John on 07730 - 047616. Cost 25 quid +2 for the festival you can win 1000quid for the biggest cod and 1000quid for the biggest ling.

Going out on Flamer II on Sunday, then going out on Geronimo on 18th - haven\'t checked the tide for 18th yet, but Sundays is Sweet
Hopefully a ling over 17lb will be mine A cod of similar or greater weight would also be most welcome
Even if the fish are only big enough to be in the daily tackle prizes that will do me.

as of this morning (no results yet from today) i heard 20lb ling and only a 10lb cod.
Still in with a good chance over the next week as the tides are great.

If you don\'t mind me asking, what do you use to make them out of ?
Mackeys are in shiort supply ? I had better take a few out of the freezer then just incase !

Jethro, You will need to go to North East Angling Supplies to register for the comp mate - they advertise in Sea Angler mag, and it has their addy & a map in the ad.

Think I will target the cod more than the ling - If the biggest is only 10lb that surely has to be beaten ?
