Hi Paul, the reason it's so effective is because the golf ball, unlike a lead, gets washed around in the surf, dragging the sandeel / worm with it so adds a lot of life to the bait.

Thats right codnot, you just put a screw eye ( curtain wire type ) into a slow sinking golf ball and attach a clip swivell, and trace.

i had a go with the golfball 3 chuks 3 hits but no fish but it was fun

sorry if this is a little bit of a silly question, but not been a golfer. Are all balls slow sinking or are only certain types.

Sorry oh great one, weefus do you mean the kit-e-kat method shhhhhhh =>tony<= the heavier density golf balls sink quicker, probs best asking a golf pro, i just let two or three go at a time in a bucket and eliminate the fastest ones to hit the bottom.
