Footwear

On the rare occasion we catch much, it’s usually my job to be chief filleter while the little-un drives. He still smirks when I say I’m going to bone the fish :) we caugh - I know we're please to see one landed but....

Most of the team are keen to help with the wash-down but haven’t got the hang of using the hose pipe yet. Where ever I go with the brush, they still accidently soak me; you’d have thought they would be a better aim by now.

Reet well I've just had these delivered and they look the business (thanks Mum :red::D)

Sturdy sole as well which was always key...can't wait to christen them with fish poo and other sundry gore :D

yeah looked at "Divers Boots" and came up with...

Oceanic Neo Classic 6.5mm Diving Boots - Only £32.25 - Mike's Dive Store, Chiswick, London

My only worry is that they'd start reeking to high heaven after a few trips out (what with blood, fish sh** etc etc) that said it'd be no different to a pair of trainers...one of my reservations with the Gul ones was the thickness of the sole

...not keen on rigger boots for reasons peeps have already given

Hmmmm

key point is waterproof...and with no metal lace eyes that will corrode

Talking of hot toes, a few weeks ago i had to come home early from work, got a phone call from the wife saying she had badly scalded both her feet, turned out she was doing a fray bentos steak and kidney pie, and she read the instructions on the base of the tin, it said remove lid then stand in boiling water for 30 minutes...:D
