Sorry Alan dont know your e mail address. Caught 4 codling for 13lb. 9oz. Heaviest fish 6 pound dead another of 4lb. 4oz. 2lb and 1.5lb. and a whiting which was returned. All were caught on runnydown, ragworm and lots of mussel from the bend on blyth west pier. Thanks, Jim Gillett. Consett. Almost forgot lol. First cast caught a gull which got away with no injuries and when i reeled in i had a rockling. Strange double. So you can catch codling after a rockling after all lol.
