For Kayos

Well a pretty satisfactory performance, bonus point, clean sheet and 14 tries in the championship, our best ever! :)

good performance from your lot especially in the conditions, England I am afraid where simply out fought by the party poopers Ireland, they don't play to the script, they certainly got into the England players faces and deserved to win

Being charitable the Ireland - England game was one for the purists. It amazes me that a team who can play such exciting rugby against Scotland, played pretty poorly in the rest of the games, albeit they won most of them?

I think the SRU have made a huge mistake replacing Vern Cotter with Gregor Townsend. Glasgow seem to be concentrating on the European Cup this season and their Pro 12 form has suffered greatly. I am not convinced Townsend is the man to take Scotland forward.

Scotland are playing an exciting brand of rugby and it is sad that they got so badly tanked by England, which has undoubtedly taken the sheen off their season. I am not sure that Gatlin will pick many for the lions tour, I think he will fill the plane with English player, plus a few from Ireland and Wales and a couple of Scots will get the back row of the plane for ballast!

It is good however that on any given day the four home nation teams are pretty competitive against each other, apart from our display at Twickenham!

certainly was a game for the purists and pleased about Jones's honesty, think Ford, not my favourite player although did well when not under pressure in other games, couldn't handle the in your face the same way Sexton handled it he certainly didn't bottle it, think there could be some surprises and big names left out of the Lions squad, think if Hartley is not captain he might not go.

Agree with you about Cotter and Townsend they should of kept a tight hold of Cotter never mind if Townsend spat the dummy.

The Twickers game was a one off

Mark I think you will be suprised about the number of scots going on the plane mate. I can see realistically 4/5 travelling. Hogg, Dunbar, one or both of the Grays and possibly someone like Russell / Visser or Maitland. Lions starters? Maybe only Hogg though.

Townsend is often thought of as a bit of a mercurial genius. Rugby is and always will be won up front. Cotter found a Way of securing enough ball for your talented backs to show what they can do... Perhaps in a way that only a Kiei can do! Either way I hope it won't be a step backwards now he is leaving.

England were purely out worked and out fought. Again they struggled to think on their feet to cope with a rushing defence. I can't imagine that a Bigger or Sexton would have struggled as much. A few chips over the top, grubbers and it makes a defence think twice.

Anyway. I think the best team won the competition. Not the most entertaining but showed there strength in depth to take the title. I think the lions tour is looking like it should be a good one!!

I hope I will be surprised Marc. I think we are always treated with a lack of respect by the TV pundits. Every week on the BBC highlights show the Scotland game was a mere postscript on the programme(apart from the game against England). Given the least time and discussion. I think that Scotland's back three of Hogg, Visser(Maitland) and Seymour have been the best in the tournament, the wingers, not only in attack, but defense and under the high ball. Performed heroically in three of the four games, yet the pundits go for North, Williams or Daly. Wales lost 3 games!

Anyway, we shall see, long time to go before the squad is announced.
