Sad news, he was a top bloke and will be missed. Always had a good crack on with him whenever i was in Ollies. Thoughts are with his family and friends

A sad day
Frankie was a great allround angler, who also represented England in trout fly fishing matches as well as being a really friendly and helpfull guy. He'll be missed by many.R.I.P Frankie.
Absolutely shocked and saddened to hear about this as I was fishing on the Warriors tonight. Will miss you Frank; you were always genuine, humorous and willing to do anything you could to help.
Known Frank for over 40 years not just a great all round angler but a good all round sports person who gave 110% to every thing. Had some great times and good crack with both Frankie and his family, top man and good friend will be sadly missed

Thursday 15th June at 12:00 noon at Whitley Bay crematorium and then a celebration of Dad's life at Comrades club Whitley Bay. We would also like contributions of any short phrases or words, such as "Tight Lines".
