Hello Kop mate, ermmm it's not a mark i'd fish on a big tide, or i'd make sure i was off a good couple hours before high tide as the waves do wash right over the top rocks to the bottom of the cliffs.
On a small tide like we're having now, you can fish it through the flood into the ebb without getting ya feet wet :)

Rig wise i think me and my mates were using mostly pulley rigs, but i can't vouch for craig and his pal, but yes it's pretty rough ground. Feels to me like there's a ledge about 40/50 yards out, wind in quick is good advice for this mark
If you can fish the left had side before it gets covered, that's a good chuck, i never seem to get snagged. Plain leads work best for me unless there's a bit swell

I'm down there today for a few hours, tides are wrong but am bored, see ya's down there if anyones daft enough to go today lol

:)

Where abouts at Seaton was this? Im looking to try and give the marks a go but never realy sure where to go... the left side onto the big beach any good or do you need to be down on the rocks so your casting straight out into the sea?

bait used to get the bass was rag wrapped in squid, lovely and juicy.

We just fished the rocks and belt straight out, but most of the fish seemed to be close in that day.

:)

Its right behind the kings arms by seaton social club next to harbour m8

aye phil, we were using pulleys too. they were close in aswell like werent they, he was only casting out about 50-70 yds. just goes yo show doesnt it

It's in front (on the right side) of the cut of the original harbour entrance. Walk along past the Kings Arms and follow the path/clamber down to get onto the rocks.
Fished there quite a few times myself, very snaggy but have had some decent fish from there, tried chucking lures around there quite a bit too but no success yet with those.

Aye craig they were close in that day, too late when i realised how far he was sneakily chuckin his bait haha

Aye all in all it's been a good spot for us, fished it a fair few times and not one blank yet i don't think !
If anyones ever down there give us a shout i'm only down the road
