Friday Evening at Durham

I had a few hours at Durham on Friday evening and had this beauty out, lost another one right at the bank several casts later but it was a lot smaller.

I had this Salmon yesterday teatime,around 8lb.

Where abouts can you fish and what else are you likely to catch? I fancy fishing a river, i have just stuck to ponds and lakes but really fancy a bit river fishing just not sure where is the best place to go or what tackle to take. I was thinking maybe a waggler rod and also avon quiver tip for freelining or ledger do you think they would do ? Cheers

The rivers are closed till the 16th of this month for Coarse fishing.
