Frustrating couple of hours with the spoon

After a good session with the spoon on Saturday I decided to give deptford another go over the top of the water tonight. A very frustrating session got 2 flounders out but must have had 30 or 40 follows with the flounders following the spoon right to the top of the water just nipping at the bait without taking it. Used the same spoon, same bait and same hook spacing as Saturday but today they were obviously interested in the spoon but not in feeding mode.

Mick. they just saw the same spoon and thought, not having anything to do with that.
