Glass Centre....Whities galore

Headed to the Glass centre at about 3.30 pm ,with a load of frozen bait including squid,blacks,mussel,and mackerel. Fished two rods one with a big pennel rig with blacks and squid fished in the middle of the river and my other rod with a two hook flapper with mussel and mackerel fished 20 - 30 yards out. Right from the off I got bites on the rod close in and landed fish every cast. The whiteys were all of a good stamp the smallest being about a pound and ranging up to a pound and a half. Caught 28 altogether keeping 5 to take home and gave 3 to a lad fishing just up from me and releasing the rest. Really enjoyed the session even though it was bloody freezing and gave my new headlamp,rod rest and seat box their first run out

Nice one mate. Same as me at the rat house today. The wear must be full of whiteys at the minute.
