first boat trip ever on sunday, just about 5 miles out from south shields, can't wait. got all the gear ready. should be good and plenty of big coddies... :)

Well good luck and hope you have fun, if your out with someone that has not been out much or at all then be carefull beause i will try and fish and push the weather to the limit most days but this weekend...nonononono no way in hell tight bars all from the north and north east... be suprised if the sea is anything less than a rough or very rough.

Like i say hope you have a good day but make sure your safe..lots of time left in the season to fish on better days.

24 mph easterlies forcast for Sunday, have a lie in and then go out on the lash, forget about this weekend for boating..:) there's always the next time ;)

its already booked now , so eaither its pay the money and go or pay the money and don't go , lol, don't worrie i'll be fine, and i'll leave a nice report :)

Looking at the weather it will be next weekend at best i plan to be out, seems a shame as i have sat, sun, mon, tue off...still its only April and 5 more months of fish yet.....also this strong east wind may push the mackerel in closer...hoping anyway :)

general assesment from windguru and magic seaweed 5ft swells and gusts of wind up to 21mph from the east.not the best for a small vessel(of course you may not be in a small vessel):D

Hi Kenny, is it a charter boat from the Tyne? just you said its already booked and paid for which is a little unusual for a private vessel.
