wonder if anyone can help ,have lawrance lms 240 gps/fish finder which i got with the boat.the map in it was for noth wales so i bought a map from storrar marine for the noth east .

the problem i have is that it wont show the land , just lines and dots of where ive been with a white background, it will show position aquired and thats it,no matter how much i zoom in and out . i also seem to have switched of the fish finder some how and cant seem to get that working,it shows depth and the bottom but no fish, the fish finder did work when i had the old map card in , dont know if ive done something when ive cleared old data(restore settings),can anyone help hopeless with anything with buttons

check that you have set the unit / map to 3d v and not 2d, it sounds like its on 2d, hope this helps

Hi Glen,
I would suggest that you have not got the map loaded in the unit. After plugging in the Sd card you have to select the map. First try "pages" then use arrow keys to select map page then hit ENt key. Then down to map with sonar then ENT. from here exit / exit should give you the default map with sonar. you now need to go to menu / menu and page down to the map select then ent. select the navionics map ; it should come up Navionics or NE181. arrow down to highlight it then press ENT then exit/exit. You should now have a map of NE. If in doubt - read the manual.

just read your message thanks, will give that ago, have recently contacted storrar marine , theve told me to take card in and theyll check it , they recon the plder gps sometimes cant read the new cards.
