green day

Only heard a little of Green Day........what I heard I liked.....a lot

Heard a lot of Oasis......still waiting to hear something I like.

Good Charlotte, Linkin Park, Busted ;)

Haa Haa Haa

NIRVANA streets ahead, miles in front, no contest!

Green Day are as punked up as Nigel Kennedy

Fair play Kurt\'s dead, but so is Bono and he\'s up for a Nobel Peace Prize. This planet makes me laugh. Heather Mills for prime minister, with Noel Edmunds as the Chancellor of the thingy.

Green Day...liked them since the early days when they released Kerplunk and Dookie probably 1993/94 onwwards,can\'t really compare the two to be honest,Oasis have got there heads up there own Ar#es,I\'m no fan of the Beatles either but they were\'nt arrogant like these Idiots.
Good Charlotte should make it as well.
Busted,Mcfly and some other lot with red hair,na,they were/are created as one night wonders, lets make a quick buck band.
Saying that the lad that left Busted seems to have formed a canny band, bit of a crappy Video though,can\'t remember there name

Be a long time since there music industry take a risk on someone who can play/write so we are not likely to see another nirvana for a loooong time more\'s the pity

curently fave on me ipod is The Darkness! nearly thought about dusting me spandex off

GREENDAY.....have loved them for ever.....Dookie is a fantastic album...and the latest...well what can I say...part of me wishes that they had not become so popular cos I was one of a few who knew about them but I am glad that there is some decent stuff on the radio being played.

Your right Clare I wish they had never broke through as well, people think they are a new band lol, followed them for years now,I suppose after years of hard work they deserve all the riches

Yep, Gotta agree, Mark.......

Wagners \"Tanhauser\" album from 1845 was excellent, but for pure power the 4 CD album, \"The Ring\", released in 1876 can\'t be bettered.

Puccini did release a couple of really good albums, though.....\"La Boheme\" in 1896 and \"Tosca\" a few years later (1900), both recieved critical acclaim. However they were regarded as slightly too much on the \"pop\" side. Strangely enough though.....THEY contain some of the most remembered (and covered) songs of the time.
