Greys orion m2 14ft

i recall reading somewhere the other day that the MK2 was a clean ground rod where as the MK1 was mixed/rough

if the MK1 is anything to go by, it will be EXCELLENT!

Wor kid's had a one for a canny few years and if it can survive him yanking out of snags it can withstand anything. i've had a couple of chucks with it and it seems canny though I ain't really had enough chucks to get used to the 14' plus his 525 mag is set as safe as houses. One more thing, it don't blow around in the wind.

The Mk1 Orion is one of the best rough ground rods i own, think i bought it in 2001 and its still going strong. So if the Mk2 is as good you wont have any problems m8

john.

Nightmare mate. Got the same rod four years ago for the same amount funnily enough. Been using it ever since and love it. Sturdy but great bite detection.

I've got the 14ft Mk2 and it's a lovely rod for clean to mixed ground. Lovely smooth casting action. Use it on beaches, piers and rivers, anywhere except heavy ground. Use it in Ireland for thornbacks in the harbour and copes easily. Usually use it with Penn 525mag and 18lb line. Enjoy!
