Fished high to middle 31/3/11 ended up with this, hooks where coming back clean

Don't know about flounder though, it's tail looks slightly rounded and it looks like it's got a bump on the heed.

surly that has got to be flounder there no spots and its body not as round as the one that was caught on south shields pier.hahahha

Well done on the flattie mate, looks like you do a lot of fishing at the grotto.
Im after a bit of advice, do you fish in front of the pub and is it 2hrs either side of high water

In between the cave and the pub, use rag tipped with mackerel, high to low seems to fish best.
