i Know its a long shot ,but do you know a women called Helan Pattinson - she is ,well to put it bluntly a VERY Big girl ,long brownish hair, But she is a very nice lady ,and the size of her isnt a problem for her ,so shouldnt be for others

she has a sheeps skull on the handle bars of her bike

and her lad is stick thin ,you might have spotted them

OMG.....dunno where to start with this one.......there are just TOO many to mention - both "well known" and those who have been vastly under-rated or totally overlooked for years (if not decades)...............dunno where to start? so I won't bother...lol................instead..............

What's your all time classic, defining guitar solo?

Now I'm not saying this is my particular "all time top guitar player" - coz he's not........but for me this IS a classic solo. Mebbies it's because I was at Earls Court on the night and it gave me goosbumps, made the hairs on my neck and arms stand up and brought tears to my eyes (not through any emotion of the song itself - it was just being there and hearing this).......

Anyway........pour yaself a drink (or better still - roll yaself some "soon to be re-classified" (again) .......basically whatever it takes to get you.......

COMFORTABLY NUMB:

tragedy that they won't be touring ever again, lucky enough to see them 5 times, New Bingley Hall in Stafford as a bairn (age 12) in 1977, earls court '81, wembley (twice) in '87 and earls court in 94

always wanted to be able to take the bairns to a floyd concert, an experience everyone should have at least once, nobody does a show like them and I doubt anyone will ever come close

The "emotional" thing I guess (for those who had followed Floyd since the early days - the Pompeii gig and previous) was the realisation that this (the nights (think there were 3) at Earls Court were gonna be theeeee last time they performed live.
OK.....I know there was the Live 8 gig - but that was merely a cameo (albeit nice to see Roger back in the line-up).........but it was just a "one off" event.

Certainly the end of an era with the "demise" of the Floyd...............long may they (like Syd), shine on !
