Was fishing the 3 shelves tonight and another lad fishing the back of camels, the tide came in so just thought the lad was fishing through, then he packed up and climbed round to the front and realised he couldn't get off, I had to laugh when I just heard "OH F##K, he sat there for the next 90 mins before he waded off.

Oh the shame That was me mate , had to pack up as i`d ran out of bait and its only the 2nd time i`d fished that mark so hadn`t realised the island got cut off at this tide height ......lesson learnt Oh and you`re right i got nowt bar 1 rockling all day.

You havent heard the worst of it yet .......when i packed up i emptied half a flask of coffee out thinking thats less weight to carry back to the car ! .....at least i had enough fags left otherwise that would have been an emergency

Thanks mate . It wasnt a problem of being safe or stranded forever lol, just bad timing on my part . Our lass still hasnt stopped laughing about it
