halls skeer seaton sluice 28/3/10

fished hall skeer at seaton sluice, trying to break my duck for this year, still no joy, used fresh lug and rag with mussel on bottom, no bites at all, the bait had not even been touched. the wind was getting stronger as we were fishing. the sea was flat with a strong westly. fished 8am till 12 better luck in the sluice comp tomorrow night. any ideas where i could break my duck tomorrow night ?
