Thanks very much everyone, SWMBO and I went for a meal at Red Mezze in Newcastle last night. It is a fairly new Turkish restaurant with some quality food and good service. We took the grandaughter a week or so back during the day when it was nice and quiet. I was pleased we booked a table for last night as it was absolutely crammed full,. Cheers to Steve for finding it in the first place When you go Steve, if you want something spicy try the Testi Kebab, a very nice Turkish oven Casserole, spicy but not too hot.

Just had a nice quiet day today had the grandaughters round this afternoon, they have just left. Only 52 eh, don't feel a day over 65 at the moment lol

Managed to get back online today, been having loads of problems with my phone line. Have had to call BT out three times since December the last time only a few days ago and it is still not right. Some phone calls getting through and some not, sometimes getting a broadband or wireless connection and sometimes not, cracking service............ NOT.

Cheers lads, Alan, I havn't had any Mackerel dishes in Turkey. I don't think they have them in their waters mate. They do have some good fish dishes though. Bass is one of their favourites, not quite the same as ours but very nice all the same.

I didn't know you liked Mackerel mate, next time I get some I will give you a shout lol.
