me and my mate were thinking the same we might fish the twin steps a couple of hours up and down till we run out of bait,,,,,both going stir crazy with these winds....forecast WSW 16mph so the wind should be on our backs ..not expecting anything ,just will be glad to get out.our other alternative is to fish the river wear at croxdale but its the winds!!!!!!!!!!!

both the above areas in daylight you will struggle to get anything at all. you,d do better on the pilot, there should be whitings at least.

Yeah im going stir crazy to get out with these winds might have an hour tonight and i work in the club and had a walk along the prom last nigh must have been about 20 lads out at least. dont know if they were gettin out though

the trouble with the pilot is a sw wind will blow right down the pier and more important the tide is going out ....very hard to get a fish over the blocks at low waterand oh mr seal will be swimming around

Lads, it is really blowing at the moment, as strong as last week Dave. The wind looks better later in the week. You could always make Carl some rigs up if your bored
