Another great day on Ali-Cat.
Started slow for me with a single cod around 8lb but lots of decent Ling coming over the gunnels to the other lads on board.
Quite a number of Red and Grey Gurnard coming up as well, all fish going back to grow even bigger.
The afternoon picked up with the Skipper and myself hitting fish on just about every drop for 45 mins, quite hectic fun and all good sized Cod with more Ling thrown in for good measure.
I went through a number of colours of shads until Green Stripey Tiger worked his magic.
Fish taken on a mixture of baited heavy metal, daylights with Mackerel and Prawn, only a few fishing with Shads but they did take the better Cod, although bait having the overall edge at the end of the day.
Mackerel still in huge numbers if you needed them, sometimes a pest to get through.
Still got myself a few places booked and the Skipper has always done his best to find the fish, so there is still time to beat the specimen of 22/24lb caught yesterday.
