got out tooday on famous, god it was bad with the swell, i got 2 cod about 5 lb and loads of mackeral, mainly ling getting caught biggest 18lb, i spent most of the day in cabin, theres was only 3 boats out counting ours, otheres went back early on, wish we had as today put me off the boats lol. glad to be back on dry land, as i,ve never felt sick apart from today

i,d have said total number of ling about 8 not many cod just the odd few, but plenty of mackeral

We were gonna go out of Hartlepool this morning but we chicken\'d out after we had taken the dogs for a run along Horden beach, it looked a tad too choppy for us.

Not nice feeling sick when its rough , but am sure the next decent trip out will well make up for it

Pleased to hear their\'s some decent ling gettin caught , any idea wear abouts you were fishing off ?
