Was on Headland yesterday lads after visiting family. Lovely sea running and managed a 3lb 5 oz Codling caught on bluey. Few Whities and odd dab so canny sesh.

I work on the headland, at Heerema, when I go to the top of the module I can see the sea. Talking to the locals, there's not much fishing action down there. But there's a good fish and chip shop, I can't remember its name now.

Hartlepool has been fishing well of late plenty of codling about most about pound and a half but some better fish to 6 pound have been caught by hartlepool I don't mean the Middleton pier

Theres been a few at high tide in the dark, and my mate caught a 2lb and 6,5lb of the rock edges last night...

Also watch your box on the way over (if you carry one) as it may hit the supports and knock you off balance as you touch down.

I'll be fishing the headland tomorrow bill, not sure where yet but I'll make it the heugh if you need a hand climbing the gate
