Don\'t know if its just me or have any of us been catching over the last couple of days ?
Tackle shops devoid of bait?
Monster cod ?
Is everone keeping quiet ?
Well fished Craster this afternoon sea was huge from the north east massive swells got a 3 pound codling and stuck in the snow yes it was white up there .

Fished Blyth Pier this evening,two decent size whiting.quite disapointed to be honest.loads of peeps fishing don\'t think there was much success.Spoke to a lad that had been fishing at Cresswell he said it was too rough up there as well..

Wish I could provide you with a decent catch report, Matty.....lol

Unfortunately, I\'ve been at work all this week and I\'m there \'til 5:00 tomorrow night aswell. Even if I HAD been able to fish this week, I doubt very much if I could \'ve provided that decent catch report....lol.

Don\'t know about the others, but I\'ve been saving what bait I\'ve got in the freezer for either New Years Day or Friday (YESSS, I\'ve got a day of!!!!!). I gather the tackle shops have run dry on worm - so I\'ll just have to make do with what I\'ve got

Matty you know you should save those codling for matches and the pies probably bogged you down in the snow.

Had me last session of the year this morning,fished the tide down for a couple of hours.One bass ,2lb,only bite i had ,nice bit of swell coming in as well but not a cod to be seen.Turned it`s nose up at the fresh yellows and took the ragworm bait .

Matty\'s been out again and will no doubt post his report but weighed a couple for him this afternoon from Bog Hall at 4lb 12oz and 2lb 2oz.
