Has anyone fished Jarrow side of the ped tunnel

As above, has anyone fished the jarrow side of the pedestrian tunnel into the tyne? Is it any good and what's the ground like ? Cheers

Pritty clean and fishing good ATM cod up to 4lb bean took out ther past 4 days

No problem if you can cast moe than 30 yards it clean but if you go up by the wall wer fence gose out it can be a bit snaggy ther

You can fish all along the railings and it's all canny for fishing with virtually no snags. The left hand part next to the wall is good for shelter in a westerly wind. The water level gets very low at low water so best fished mid tide up and over though you can still catch small stuff at low. If you are fishing after dark you will not be lonely as there are plenty of rats to keep you company

Clean ground, easy fishing, and theres a few cod in river.
