Arrived just on low water a few fishing so gave us hope then everything fell apart for the 3 of us me and marcus' rods went over on the stands and tom had ne waders only boots so his feet were soaked rain snow hail thunder and lightning. 1 cast later and time for home,

Noticed a few crashes on the roads already so for those that do venture out be very carefull
Im hoping to get a few hours down shields tomorrow with what bait i fid t have a chance to use

Hard lines mate.. Did it do any damage to ur rods I had that on shields pier I was just setting up and bang rod went over and smashed 4 rings to say I was gutted was an understatement good luck for the morra
 
Cnt get sny betta just got in from my trip went to Blyth with snow hail and funded lighting so headed to rubber factor to find my 1st eye on rod eas bent bk up rod in hand heded home and on way home it came from ne wer nerlie crashed 2x and 3rd time we did in to a ball ard not bad just a bump so keep safe out ther

well done for braving that the weather was shocking, heard the inshore life boat going off around 9.30 dont know if you saw anything hope it was not anglers.
