Hebburn marina before work

After a not so good trip to holderness fish wise we had about 30 peelers left so froze them all down on Sunday but had a tub full of the meat out of the claws
Got to the marina armed with 3 small rods hoping for this eel I haven't caught got for the species hunt
Got a coalie on the first cast then it was a fish a chuck to be honest all small tommies but good sport

Then my time came a nice bite which never stopped and in came my 1st eel of the year nice to target a fish and eventually get it

So packed up after 1 1/2 hrs with 1 coalie. 6 tommies and an eel and cheers for the advice from Fishingmark on the eel hunt
Nice easy session and looking for my next species ray , wrasse or bass hopefully this weekend
