This reel will make someone a great boat reel loaded up with braid. If they want to make it into a casting reel you can get mono-mag kits for them from blackdog tackle for £15.

it is a speedmaster i have one. probably hasnt got brakes. slowed mine down with gear box oil. bought it used but mint 20yrs ago for £30.00
