which would any of you prefer? greys jupiter, greys grx, greys nitra or a century shoreline???? to be used over mixed ground and it musnt wobble around in the wind and have a bit weight in it.

will give you the same advice as I give everybody asking that question, get a general opinion yes, but the rod that suits them, might not suit you, best to go and try the rods, it is the only way.
 
alan its more about the weight and stiffness of the rod im after, as im using one now thats light and its got a horrible wobble in the wind. as for being suited for the rod shouldnt be a problem as id get used to it, and im no tournament caster so therefor distance isnt a problem as long as im hitting 100+ yards

the jupiter is a very good rod ,its all you need its suited rough to mixed ground.and i used mine for west coast for doggies ,craster howick for cod. and also used it for pendulum casting on the beach.had mine for 8 years now got a greys mercury and that is very good !:D
 
Now that proves exactly what Alan Charlton is saying. Anthony, you say you like the Grey's Jupiter, I hated it, it is the only rod I have owned that I have not been able to cast with. I have to say too that I had it for quite a while and never ever got used to it.
